THE PURPOSE OF OUR YOUTH AND CHILDREN'S MINISTRY is to help Apostles Church be a congregation in which adults and youth work together in the life and mission of the church, laying a foundation for the lifelong journey of faith for our young people and assisting them to discover their values, beliefs, and personal identity within our common calling as followers of Jesus Christ.

Our common goals include:

  • Welcome all individuals as children of God.

  • Assist youth and children in discovering where they are on their faith journey.

  • Provide spiritual nourishment for growth and maturity in faith.

  • Equip disciples to articulate their faith from cradle to grave.

  • Encourage transformational learning to live out their faith in the world

    •  YOUTH:
    Presbyterian Church of the Apostles Youth Ministry is the place for 6th - 12th graders to find their place in the unique PCA community of faith through fellowship, study, worship, and service. Join us on Sunday mornings from 10:45 - 11:45 am for contemporary Bible study and discussion and on Wednesday evenings from 5:00 - 8:00pm for music, worship, and fellowship. Throughout the school year, we attend weekend retreats, a ski trip, locate service projects, a "destination unknown" trip, experience worship in new and ancient ways, and explore what it means to be a part of the Body of Christ.

    In the summers, we participate in a mission trip, camping at the Presbyterian Clearwater Forest Christian Camp and Conference Center, and monthly mission and social events. Confirmation is offered each year focusing on faith journeys through adult mentor relationships.

    CHILDREN:
    Presbyterian Church of the Apostles Children's Ministry is the place for children (infant- 5th graders) to find their place in the unique PCA Community of faith through story telling, spiritual development, music, and service. Join us on Sunday morning from 10:45 - 11:30am for Sunday school, a nurturing nursery, and worship. On Wednesday evenings, we offer an exciting Logos program from 5:00 - 8:00pm that includes supper, bible study, mission projects, tone chimes, choir, and recreation. In the summers, we provide VBS and fellowship gatherings.
